bitcoinexchange.cc or bitcoinbux.com will take your moneypak and give you BTC. Usually within an hour or 2. I have used both to buy BTC with moneypak and they work very well.

This is how it works, like on SR first pay - then receive...if you exchange other currencies like LR, Pecunix, etc. it's the same story

Yes I have used bitcoinexchange.cc before. The guy that runs it was well known on the bitcoin forums before Silk Road came about. He used to do it via PM on the forums but now has the website as well as various IM clients and such. Very legit and trusted. You can look him up on the bitcoin forums if you are nervous. And yes like BockZu said, you do have to pay first. But every time I have used the service I always got my BTC right away.

good to know thanks. I assumed that since it was an order, unlike a p2p exchange, you'd have to pay once your order was able to be filled. Giving your moneypak # before you were even affirmed your order would complete seemed like a scam. For my own edification, whats his bitcoin forum username and bitcoin otc nickname? thanks for the help again

thanks a lot. seems legit but it's been 2 days since I sent in an order with my MoneyPak #. No response other than a confirmation email right after. I emailed the support and nothing still. The waiting game is nerveracking but necessary, i know. Getting duped sucks.
